FAMILY
In Ancient Rome the average family considered of a mother, father and children. If you didn't get married by the age of 15-16 you were punished, the person who decided who his children would marry was up to the head of the house the father.
SCHOOLS
Rome didn't have public schools, most children went to private schools or studied at home. Their subjects were reading and writing, in many homes the slaves taught the children.
